PROJECT COORDINATOR required for a leading blue chip company in the Weybridge Suurrey Area, Up to £45,000 Blue Chip Benefits, 9 month fixed term contract The Role: Support the Global Chief Risk Officer to deliver the annual departmental objectives for Enterprise Risk Management ("ERM"), Insurable Risk, policy management and Health, Safety and Environmental management In conjunction with the Policy Governance Manager, support the Global Chief Risk Officer to develop and implement clear, concise and consistent Company-wide policies and procedures (including related tools) in accordance with best practice governance standard Support to enhance governance processes over health, safety and environmental management throughout the entire organisation Support the Insurable Risk team on special projects as required Deliver and maintain on an ongoing basis the intranet site and track the status of all intranet sites which support the delivery of all the annual departmental objectives Preparation draft reports including all papers to the Audit and Finance Committees, the Operating Meeting and the CFO Committee Prepare papers for the Risk Committee, the Health, Safety and Environmental Committee and the Policy Governance Committee Prepare and keep up to date a departmental calendar for ERM, Insurable Risk, Health, Safety and Environmental management and policy management, listing all key deadlines for the delivery of required reports Draft papers to the Audit and Finance Committees papers and to/for the various Executive Committees for review Checking for consistency with other policies, obtain approval from the Policy Governance Committee, consider all comments received from Divisions from the consultation period and publish the final policy on the various organisational intranets Coordinate all required edits to published polices and recommend changes to the Global Chief Risk Officer Deliver in accordance with agreed deadline project to translate policies into the languages agreed by the Global Chief Risk Officer and by the Policy Governance Committee Track progress/status of project to disseminate all policies to, Divisional, Business and cross divisional functional personnel via agreed organisational communication tools Manage and coordinate the Global Risk Office intranet site and keep track of the status of/changes to all key functional intranet sites such as Global Financial Controls and Travel Security , Keep up to date calendar for all Global Chief Risk Office functions, and organisation charts and contact lists Essential Skills and Experience Excellent interpersonal skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high fluency of English. Aptitude for working in a team as well as of own initiative Proactive and able to identify opportunities for improvement Ability to work unsupervised and to work well under pressure, ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines Strong Microsoft Office knowledge and experience of database management or reporting Experience of stakeholder management Must be able to demonstrate strong attention to detail Ability to assess and improve processes This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/75377007
