About the company The company is split into two different divisions, civil engineering and building. The company specializes in building homes, healthcare and utilities but the company does do all types of build and civil engineering. The company is based within the UK and Republic of Ireland and have been well established for over 70 years and continue to keep growing, winning lots of work. The company is well known and thrives towards health and safety and this was made adamant when they won gold at the RoSPA Occupational Health and Safety Awards. The group is Northern Irelands largest construction firm and in 2015 increased its annual turnover by 25% up to 298M. About the role The company are looking for an estimator to join their civil engineering team in Woking who is looking for a long term job and willing to progress there career. The company are willing to take someone on who’s at an estimator level already but they’re also willing to take on an assistant estimator. Ideally they’re looking for somebody to Co-ordinate with the bid management team to develop a schedule of key dates for individual estimates (enquiries, pricing, and adjudication). You’ll need to price all temporary works as required. Link with design team or other business functions to ensure the completeness. It’s important to note that the successful candidate will be expected to travel as part of their role to construction sites, company fixed locations or other locations as requested by Management. Requirements You’ll be required to have a good standard of education preferably to Foundation Degree level (HND,HNC) in a Construction , Civils, Business of equivalent qualification. It’s important to have experience working within civil engineering as an estimator and to show good long term stability at the companies you have worked for.
