Due to continuous growth of the business, this medium sized asbestos company that provides professional services to clients is actively seeking for an astute, commercially focused and self-driven Asbestos Commercial/Operational Manager based in the South East and will include applications from London, Essex, Surrey, Hertfordshire and the surrounding areas. Qualifications & Experience: Ideally, the applicant must have attained the S301/CCP qualifications and must a proven track record working within this role and with the asbestos industry. Must come from a strong educational, technical, consultancy, sales, operations, office and commercial, removals and management background. Must be well versed with the asbestos industry, appertaining to Health & Safety procedures. Must have good communication, client facing, people management, leadership organizational and presentation skills. Must be competent in using the Microsoft Office Package. Key Role: Managing and running the office effectively staff. Getting involved with recruitment, training and developing staff and ensuing that the procedures are followed with regards to appraisals, etc. Attending meetings regularly and reporting any issues. Holding meetings with staff and keeping them informed of any company issues or matters. Supporting the office with regards to allocation and resourcing of staff. Monitoring targets and achieving continuous profit goals. Winning new contracts, cross selling the company's other services to clients/customers, whilst still managing existing accounts. Collating information for the accounts/finance team and dealing with any queries. Assisting sales team as and when required Providing quotes and tenders. Getting involved Key Performance Indicators. Liaising with clients Liaising with Quality Management and ensuring all that all work carried out is of high quality and performance. Ensuring that company's Management System runs smoothly, which would include Health and Safety, Quality Assurance and Operational? Resourcing, assisting and managing contracts. Ensuring all Health and Safety procedures are followed. Getting involved with training, appraisals, etc. Attributes/Requirements: The successful candidate will be of smart disposition, confident, persuasive and flexible have the ability to run the office smoothly and at the same time take the business to the next level.
