ROLE SUMMARY This is a global role with strong emphasis in EMEA region and it is for an EDI Functional Business Analyst who will be responsible for the full SDLC lifecycle of a Business-to-Business (B2B) EDI and Application to Application (A2A) implementations of projects, onboarding of new and existing trading partners via minor enhancements process, and support. Responsible for gathering detailed business requirements, trading partner requirements, deeper analysis against existing capabilities and business processes, creating EDI functional specifications, research, testing, and implementation of changes to the existing B2B e-commerce (EC) and EDI tools, transactions, and interfaces associated with our global SAP platform. RESPONSIBILITIES - Collaborate with Strategic Demand Managers, business process owners and end users to clearly identify and understand business needs and requirements specifically EDI and other B2B and A2A integrations. - Translate business requirements into detailed EDI functional specification (workbook) that can be handed over to developers. - Responsible in SAP setup and end to end testing with business users and customers and identy and propose B2B solutions for SAP-related business processes enabled by EDI in support of internal clients and external trading partners. - Establishes and maintains communications within BPT, internal business clients, with 3rd party support team, and with external trading partners. - Act as SME for the EDI standards in use at SCJ (e.g. X12, UN/EDIFACT, XML). - Competent to work at a high level of all phases of e-commerce process and transaction-level development activities, including regression testing. - Actively participate in Global BPT initiatives as an e-commerce functional resource familiar with e-commerce and SAP capabilities, limitations, and integration points (e.g. IDOCs). - Manage 3rd party B2B EDI VAN (Value Added Network) providers, ensuring contracts are up to date and SLA's are met. POSITION REQUIREMENTS - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems or related business degree. - Solid understanding of key EDI-enabled business processes (e.g. Order-to-Cash, Forecast-to-Stock, Logistics, and Finance) - Strong experience applying EDI standards (e.g. X12) and communication protocols (SFTP, AS2, etc) to new and existing EDI transactions and requests Degree calibre candidate, ideally in a quantitative subject, or equivalent and CTA qualified. - Solid understanding of SAP ECC R/3 IDOCS and ability to design IDOC extensions and strong experience with SAP ECC R/3 partner profiles and translator partner profile setups - Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and operate efficiently under continuous change - Excellent communication, influencing and presentation skills with strong stakeholder management experience - fluency in another European Language would be extremely beneficial. - Certification in ITIL v3 Foundation - S4HANA experience would be extremely desirable You need to be legally eligible to work in country of application.
