This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Account Manager or National Account Manager looking for a step up into a high profile role which is responsible for our growing Butter, Spreads and Margarine (BSM) business. This National Account Manager - 12 month FTC job is responsible for managing two of our leading grocery accounts, which have a total turnover of c.£25m. The business in both accounts is predominantly own label, with a small amount of branded, therefore own label experience would be preferred. One of these accounts would be seen as the benchmark within the Category and the relationship is in a really good place with lots of opportunities to grow the account further. The role will be based in Egham with the rest of the Dairy sales team, with travel to a northern retailer as well as our production site in Yorkshire required at least once a fortnight. Based in Egham, the successful National Account Manager will be responsible for the following: Leading and developing a 1-3 year horizon brand portfolio with a cross functional team within in a given category. You will use all growth levers to set the direction for future growth and build competitive advantage in the market for Kerry. Supporting Sales as team lead in budget management and responsible for Customer/Channel forecasting Accountable for joint business planning bought into by all stakeholders reflecting sales, profit & brand objectives for Kerry You will bring an expert knowledge of the relevant customers, competitors and the retail market they operate in Responsible for the planning and development of Customer promotions Maximising Trade Spend using tools to deliver better ROI Responsible for delivering accurate forecast working with demand planning Responsible for management of customer tenders and identifying new customer opportunities Create and maintain a Customer wiring plan as part of a wider customer relationship management strategy Responsible for price and commercial agreements with customers and aligned to Kerry strategies Responsible for driving availability and Kerry service levels (order fulfilment through to accounts received) What does our ideal candidate look like? Our ideal candidate will hold a Degree (or equivalent) and will have the following: Demonstrated account management experience with full P&L responsibility Track record within FMCG is a benefit, with exposure to chilled food and own label even better Fantastic communication and relationship skills with the ability to build relationships both internally and externally You will be a team player with the ability to influence at peer level and above You will be a true foodie, passionate about working for a leading food business Whilst experience is important, finding the right person who will live and breathe our Kerry Values is something we are extremely passionate about.
