Asbestos Project Manager - P402/CCP - South East
Due to present state of the business, this fast growing asbestos company with a good presence is actively seeking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic and ambitious Asbestos Project Manager who holds the asbestos CCP/P402 qualifications to join their busy team/office in the South East and will include applications from London, Surrey, Hertfordshire and the surrounding areas. Requisites: The applicant must come from a strong asbestos, technical, sales, accounts, consultancy, construction and management background. Must have hands on asbestos surveying. Must have good communication, client-facing, organizational, leadership and IT skills. Must be fully versed with the asbestos industry, including Health & Safety procedures and legislation with regards to asbestos. Key Role: Bringing in new clients and contracts for the company. Organizing contracts and overseeing clients and project managing asbestos surveyors and analysts on site and ensuring that they carry out the work effectively and within time line. Having hands on asbestos surveying - carrying out asbestos surveying on properties as and when required. Overseeing contractors on site and ensuring that they adhere to the Health and Safety procedures pertaining to asbestos. Allocation of jobs. Assisting with tendering, estimating, etc. Providing quality technical services and information to the company's portfolio of clients. Completing recommendations and approving reports as necessary. Budgeting - managing the financial side of the business with regards to projects. Using the Data - Delivering information/reports as and when required by the Operations Manager. Getting involved in the UKAS accreditation. Providing consultancy services to the company's new and existing clients. Ensuring that all work carried out is in accordance with the company's system and legislation. Assisting the Asbestos Risk Management Department - Attending meetings and dealing with the feedback. Getting involved with the training of staff. Liaising with clients/contracts with regards to asbestos removals. Getting involved Quality Assurance - maintaining the quality systems Demonstrating high standards and performance. Dealing with company's policies, procedures and procedures. Dealing with any problems/issues appropriately and effectively. Requirements/Attributes: In general, the successful post-holder will be commercially focused, adaptable, astute and flexible and at the same time have the aptitude to manage and take the business forward. Must be prepared to travel.
