As the NAM, you will be responsible for delivering a winning sales plan through a collaborative approach on two lead grocery accounts - directly reporting into the Sales Controller . The role focuses predominantly in Own Label products although some brands are also included in this role's scope. You will win in the marketplace through strategic planning, direction and growth of all sales driving initiatives linked to the overall profitability of the account while fundamentally driving the financial performance of Kerry Foods. As a National Account Manager, your responsibilities include: Managing stakeholder groups within one or more Customers Supporting the sales team lead in budget management and responsible for Customer/Channel. The planning and development of customer promotions Negotiating and delivering the targeted customer trade rate for all activities Maximising Trade Spend using tools to deliver better ROI Building up information on international markets, customers & dynamics as a base to developing the export business Ensuring all price and commercial agreements are agreed with customers and aligned to Kerry strategies Actively working with Demand Planning to ensure that the customer sales forecast is accurately reflected in the business sales forecast Identifying key account/ product opportunities and roll out plans including those for customer promotions Responsible for the development and negotiated delivery of all in-store promotions, the development and maintenance of demand forecast, the completion of Pre Promo evaluation and achieving sign off, landing Retailer sell-in terms agreement, execution Monitoring of all promotions Creating integrated plans that deliver the strategy supporting excellent execution Being accountable for customer performance, ensuring JBP is a working document bought into by all stakeholders and reflects and achieves sales, profit & brand objectives for Kerry Responsible for management of customer tenders and identifying new customer Support the development of best in class function through external and internal benchmarking and driving best practice Support the development of the team including seeking and actioning feedback from Customers and internal stakeholders Develop and communicate forward looking plans, which gives the Business visibility of and confidence in the fact that the opportunities are being maximised Create and maintain a Customer wiring plan as part of a wider customer relationship management strategy Develop activation (promotion/trade marketing) plans in line with budgets and that will deliver Kerry Foods strategies Responsible for negotiating and maintaining listings, within target trade rates for specified What does our ideal candidate look like? Our ideal candidate will hold a Degree (or equivalent) and will have the following: Ability to proactively manage major Customer Accounts A keen ability to build and sustain relationships internally & externally Ability to effectively analyse and interpret data so as to build sound arguments to gain customer buy-in to Customer Plan Keen understanding of commercial elements and performance of the business Able to identify key issues and trends and proactively develop and execute a plan to address Demonstrated track record in sales or a commercial role within FMCG Good Understanding of National Accounts Strong communication & presentation Skills Able to connect with and support other functions as required and to share knowledge across the wider business.
