A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an account manager to join Europe’s leading distributor of pest control and hygiene products. A chance to take over the premier accounts based in a lucrative part of the South East and to include some of London. This will suit anyone with a natural ability to look after good clients both big and small. Full training will be provided and this is not a technical sale. This company is an expert in pioneering new products in the market, offering well-known pest control brands alongside newly developed products to meet the demands of the dynamic pest control environment. In addition to delivering innovative brands globally my client is also recognised for its market leading customer service and technical advice. Based in the UK they develop leading brands for specialist commercial markets, including flying insect control, bird control, and general pest control and washroom hygiene solutions. A close working relationships with their customers is key to their product development ethos, giving them a real insight into the needs of their customers as well as specifiers and end users. Main duties include: This is a mainly field based account management role, interacting with pest control companies/ facilites management companies / business owners and specifiers. Looking after valued customers and providing the best support in the industry. The account manager will be responsible for managing customers, targeting sales growth through technical support, product advice and outstanding customer service. Face to face meetings with customers, understanding their product and service requirements to grow sales Proactively identify new customer opportunities, developing these into profitable accounts Territory management and planning to ensure target of 4 sales calls per day is achieved Ensure territory sales targets are met and exceeded on a monthly basis Sell the full range of brand products Ideal Candidate: This account manager role requires an established Account Management professional, who can deliver sales growth, predominantly with our existing customer base and through new customer acquisition. A minimum of 2 years account management experience is required. This account manager role requires a highly self- motivated, organised individual with good interpersonal skills.
