Finance and Accounting team support extends to the wider finance team including Cashiers, Payroll, Tax & Revenue, other Business services like HR, Facilities & IT. Financial Accountant will be required to get involved in year-end audit work, including preparation of audit schedules, supporting the team with Audit queries and potentially being responsible for a reporting unit Financial Accounts. There will be opportunities to engage in business partnering, either through periodic reporting to PG heads or other ad-hoc duties.

The Opportunity

You will be a lead financial accountant within the team with the opportunity to create efficiencies and controlled procedures. This is an interesting opportunity for an individual to help shape the direction of the team, and streamline processes.

This is a 12 months fixed term contract.

Who we're looking for

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or international equivalent) with relevant experience, ideally gained within the legal or other professional services sector. The successful candidate will have solid accounting experience including preparation of financial statements and involvement in audits. Detailed knowledge of UK GAAP/FRS 102 is necessary.

You will be organised, thorough and accurate demonstrating a high degree of professionalism and accuracy in work at all times. The right candidate will be flexible and able to work to tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills are essential.
