Cook/Chef required for busy Deli Cafe
Open 5 days Wednesday to Sunday, day time shift only - Part time Friday 8.30 to 5.30/Saturday 8.30 to 5.30/Sunday 9 to 5
You will be required be fully involved in the daily preparation of food to be sold in the Deli as well as the full menu for the Cafe.
You will need to have at least 2 years experience of cooking in a kitchen, be able to work on your own as well as within a small team.
You will be expected to take the lead when the Head Chef is away.
You will be required to do the following: maintain costs be adhering to recipes and portion control. Maintain a sanitary kitchen by adhering to environmental health guidelines, regards storage, refrigeration, temperature controls and cleaning of equipment. Keep equipment operating by following instructions, reporting breakdowns, performing preventative cleaning and maintenance.
Manage stocks, check in deliveries and report replenishment requirements .
